"Explore The Physics of Bubbles and Color, Saturdays This May!..."

They'll Have So Much Fun With Bubbles, They Won't Know They're Learning!

Do your little ones just love playing with bubbles? Did you know there is an important science lesson hidden in there? It's not always easy to get your little ones tuned into science. Maybe you've tried the educational games and toys to stimulate their minds, but sometimes your kids just want to play! You'd love for them to explore the science in everyday things like soap and water, but they need a little nudge to help open their eyes.

Picture a place where your little scientists could roam free and play with bubbles as part of a lesson. What if your kids could investigate the physics of a bubble, discover its amazing properties, and play and learn all at the same time? Imagine how excited your kids would be with a giant bubble big enough to capture one of their friends! Who knew learning about water tension and molecules could be so much fun?

Saturday Science at The Discovery Center delivers this and much more this May. Bubbles and Color are this month's theme. Your kids will use hula-hoops and wading pools to blow giant bubbles while they learn exactly why they take the shape of spheres. They'll try catching bubbles in a jar and try to figure out why bubbles like wet surfaces.
