"Be A Paleontologist For a Day At Our Dino Dig Site..."

Dig up some prehistoric fun, Saturdays this October...

Do you know just what a single dinosaur fossil can tell us? Do you know the proper way to hunt for fossils at an excavation site? You love to study dinosaurs, but you want to know what it's like to be a real archaeologist.

Imagine a place where you had the tools and the know-how to try out some archaeology. What if you had the chance to be an archeologist for a day and see what it's like to search for ancient artifacts? You just might find something worthwhile!

Your kids will get this chance the last three Saturdays of October. We're bringing dino-fever to the Valley with our Dino Dig during October Saturday Science. We'll be celebrating the wonder of dinosaurs, following in the footsteps of the Walking With Dinosaurs event at the Save Mart Center this September. Come learn about mapping and documenting artifacts, just like a real archaeologist!

Want to take part in the Dino Dig for free? After Walking With Dinosaurs, bring your stub from the show to The Discovery Center and you'll get to dig up some prehistoric fun for free!

Note: There will be no Dino Dig on October 4, 2008.
